March 18, 2011John & Genelia’s Marriage Was Interrupted
John Abraham and beauty doll Genelia D’souza took realism to new heights when the duo were shooting a wedding sequence at Malshej Ghat for their upcoming release ‘Force.’
Apparently, John and Genelia, who will be seen together for the first time in Vipul Shah’s ‘Force’, almost got married to each other on the sets of the film. The actors were in a wedding sequence and were stopped almost before completing the saat pheras.
Talking to a daily, a source said, “We were shooting in Malshej Ghat and there was this old temple where we had got a local maharaj for the wedding sequence. Unfortunately the pandit has never witnessed a wedding and did not understand the concept of ‘cut’ and ‘action’ while shooting. It was a multi-camera set-up and so we needed to have minimum shots. However whenever Nishikant Kamath would say cut, the pandit would not stop. Finally after the sixth phera someone from the unit realized that the mantras were real and if not stopped John and Genelia would be actually married. So, they were stopped before the final round.” Source

How is life post Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa?
I have been busy with stage shows in Mumbai, Aamby Valley (a township in Pune) and Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu.
I had no time for myself during Jhalak. Now I really need a break and want to rejuvenate myself by meditating in an ashram for 10-12 days. I plan to take off to Bali this weekend. Source

Salman Khan To Do A 3D Film With Shirish Kunder
Here is a great news for all you Sallu fans. Ever thought of watching Salman Khan in 3D? You just might get to experience that with the actor’s upcoming film, Kick, as director Shirish Kunder intends on using the technology.
“Yes, there is an intention to dabble with 3D in Kick. I will soon be meeting Salman to discuss the possibility of using it.
But nothing has been confirmed yet,” says Shirish.
The film, a remake of a Telugu action romance movie, will have a lot of stylised action sequences.
For the time being, Shrish is busy with his 3D project, Joker starring Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha. According to reports, Salman was Salmanquite fascinated with the technology and rumours even suggested that he wanted to be a part of the 3D flick. Source

Ayesha Takia & Her Family Is Getting Threats Over Phone
This is something unbelievable. Ayesha Takia’s husband Farhan Azmi has complained about the threats made to his family.
He says the caller who is an unidentified person has said that he is a Hindu fanatic and from the state of Uttar Pradesh. He claims to be a person who has come in the disguise of a Muslim all the way to Mumbai. The caller informed the family that they were the first family in the hit list.
Abu Asim Azmi the father-in-law of Ayesha Takia the actress is heading the Samajwadi party. Ayesha Takia Azmi the well known actress for films like Tarzaan and Wanted is said to be harassed along with her family by this unknown caller.
Farhan Azmi the husband of the Bollywood actress Ayesha Takia has complained to the crime branch in Mumbai regarding this mysterious caller. The man has been calling for the last three days. He is very much aware of Farhan Azmi’s movements and is said to have told him that too. So it seems this man has followed him closely and has some hidden agenda which is putting the Azmi family in a difficult situation. Source

Shahrukh Khan’s Habit Of Smoking !
Shahrukh Khan is reprtedly back to India after a long time after shooting Don 2. As reported earlier, Shakira is also featuring in KKR IPL song. Among all these reports what stands out is that one statement said by Shahrukh, “ I think, apart from smoking, aur koi buri aadat abhi tak nahin hai mujh mein (I don’t have have any bad habits till now).”
Shahrukh Khan who is a chain smoker accepts that smoking cigarette is the only bad habit in him. In a press meet when the actor was asked if he plans of having bhaang during the festival of Holi, Shahrukh promptly replied, “I have never tasted bhaang in my life. I think, apart from smoking, aur koi buri aadat abhi tak nahin hai mujh mein (I don’t have have any bad habits till now ).”
The actor who is known for his spontaneous and humourous comments ends the interview session by posing a weird question, “Holi kab hai, by the way?” This statement filled laughter among the interviewers. Shahrukh continued, “Guess I will be shooting that day.”

Sanjay Dutt’s Baby Boy Has All The Qualities Of A Superstar
Sanju Baba’s son Shahraan is barely five months old but is very comfortable on the sets of Rascals. He’s at Mehboob Studios every evening with his two nannies and spends time on Sanju’s, David’s and Lisa Haydon’s laps until wrap-up.”
In fact, when producer Indra Kumar showed up on the sets to get Sanju’s dates for Dhamaal 2, he was struck by the li’l one’s looks and resemblance to Sanju. He jokingly said he’d give a signing amount for Shahraan at that moment, sensing he had the makings of a star.
Adds the source, “Not one to be outdone, Dhawan piped in to point out that Rascals was a Dutt Production and he was directing. Why let anyone else direct Shahraan for his first shot? He quickly took an impromptu shot of Shahraan on Dutt’s lap, stating he’d use it somewhere in the film either during opening or end credits.”
Says David, “I love having Shahraan on the sets. I want to see him every day now. He reminds me so much of Sanju in his looks, eyes and persona. He looks exactly like his father.” Source

This is serious news for all you Madhuri Dixit fans. No less than 5.6 per cent of homes with cable and satellite television watched dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa on day one.
This was head and shoulders above Kaun Banega Crorepati, anchored by Amitabh Bachchan, which opened with a viewership of 4 per cent on the channel, while Shah Rukh Khan’s Zor Ka Jhatka on NDTV Imagine managed just 2.6 per cent viewership.
For years, there has been an unwritten rule in showbiz that married actresses, especially those with children, don’t sell. Dixit, now in her 40s, married a US-based doctor some years ago and bid adieu to the entertainment industry - but the industry does not seem ready to let go of her so easily.
“I am glad people still think of me so highly and are willing to work with me,” she says. Source

Shahid Kapoor Is Still Trying To Convince Priyanka Chopra
The most unlucky couple Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra have had the most complicated relationship in Bollywood and they continue to make people wonder if they are still together or not.
Buzz has it that Shahid kept pouring her mobile inbox with “Miss you” and “Let’s work it out” text messages ever since PC returned to Mumbai from her ‘Don 2’ shoot in Malaysia. Moreover, he is being a real charmer by sending her flowers too.
A source close to the couple, “Their constant fights and arguments led to the break up. She didn`t want to be in town during his birthday. That`s why she planned her US holiday around the same time. Hence she travelled with friends who didn`t have any connection to the industry. After that she took off for Malaysia to join the Don 2 unit. It was important for her to take a clean break from her guy.”
It seems that Shahid has to work out hard and harder, if he wants his lady love back in life. Source
