In view of the Court Action filed under Clause No. 2011HPC134, as read with the Notice of Compulsory Acquisition to Minority Shareholders issued on the
18th February 2011, the suspension of trading in the shares will remain in force until the Court has made an appropriate order.

The LuSE All Share Index closed at 3,767.86 points up by 0.34%. A total of 350,594 shares were transacted in 28 trades yielding a total turnover of K201 million. Trading activity recorded in AELZ, BATZ, CCHZ, CEC, LAFARGE, SCZ, ZAMBEEF, ZAMEFA, ZANACO and ZSUG.

The all share index recorded a marginal gain of 0.09%, closing at 2,376.68 points from previous closing of 2,374.66 points recorded on Friday. A volume of 1,493,954 shares was transacted in 21 trades yielding a turnover of K91,665,200. Natbrew recorded a gain of K190 to close at K4,300.CEC dropped by K4 to end the day at K434 and BP Zambia closed at K354 down by K1. Trading activity was also recorded in Celtel, Lafarge, Investrust and SCZ.
