There it is. I'm in my basement typing away, driven by who knows what, towards who knows what. If it costs me my life, it's been a very poor investment. My name is Jim. This site is OLGA Cultural Exchange, or as I like to refer to it as, "the OLGA BEAT", baby. If you have an idea of what it should be, please let me know, cause I don't. It's 2 a.m. and I'm very tired of waiting for my miracle. A Tale of Two Olgas - the Origins of "the Olga Beat" This is Olga Medvedev from Cheboksary, Russia. She should be a model. She's very pretty. The women in the bottom corner of this div is Olga too. She's from Kiev, Ukraine. Her last name escapes me. They are the reason for this site being called OLGA instead of Jill or Jane or Trixie. They left an impression, and unknowingly became the basis for a web network's name. For further information, check out our mother site at www.TheOLGABEAT.com. If you're still out there, Olga, drop me a line. I'd love to hear from you. Ohio Kitty and the further expansion of "the Olga Beat" This is a plain-dressing Conservative Quaker woman from Lebanon, Ohio, I met online while searching for a new place to live in the State's coolest town, Barnesville. Her name is Kitty. I mistakenly took her for someone who lived near my dream home destination and asked her for information. Kitty and I run in similar online circles. We're both members (I've only applied for membership) of Ohio Yearly Meeting (the Quakers). (Lebanon and Barnesville are a several hours drive part.) Kitty is an artist, and the newest member of the QuakersOnline Internet Services Design Team. She's not there yet, but learning. Kitty's first online project will be her personal site. We threw ideas back and forth, her's abstract, mine cliche, but settled for her new online persona of OhioKitty. Coming Soon! Ten Dollar Logo and the Graphics for "the Olga Beat" TenDollarLogo - What Can I say? Where have you gone my talented, reliable, weblogo service? This short lived Brazilian Logo Design company provided me with all of the logos for this site as well as several others before padding their pockets with ten dollar bills and closing shop. I really hope you didn't rip off too many people. I just purchased the domain name TenDollarLogo.net with hopes of creating a business with the same concept in mind. I just need to find the capital to go 3rd World, with row after row of PCs and an equal amount of starving artists, all Illustrator designing to a new Beat.
